@tylerblue: Powerful stuff man, like the guitar is it, that carries on even after the first main drop. Nice. Original, too.

Hi, new to the forum,
started messing around with dubstep recently and here's something I made on a hungover Sunday!

@dubmatters, the tracks flowing really nicely, i was expecting it to get a little crowded after the first drop but it actually had quite a bit of space to it.
Just a little head's up, there's actually a soundcloud embedding feature you can attach to your post's
Here's an updated clip from myself

Tried to make something a little more "plain" dubstep... I get a dubstep sub-genre without even trying.
got the idea when I was at a dubstep festival and my friends and I drank too much whiskey and started beat boxing and somebody used "mel gibson" in their beat randomly... beatboxing works best drunk
let me know what you think, it's my first try at 'dubstep' by itself, did all the sound design

Impressive sound design. My only criticism would be to work on your drum programming a bit more. IMHO it needs a bit more of a groove to it in order to really immerse the listener. Hope this helps.

When you say drum programming do you mean the drum sounds themselves? or do you mean the sequence?

This is a very rough snippet so be gentle lol just a general idea so far. kinda trying to explore the different areas dubstep has to offer. I know the sidechaining on the bass is too much

let me know what you think!

Keep it up with this. Good WIP man. Only criticism I have is that the hi hats get a bit repetitive. Maybe vary up the velocity or pattern a bit?

@jaspervc: That's coming along really well, like it.
This is the bare structure of my latest WIP, no really variation on it as yet.
