If you don't mind, I would like to know how you made that snare. (If you made it) But without the whitenoise going up.
I did not make it, it's from one of the vengeance club essentials packs, but if you give me your email I would be more than happy to send you the sample I used ( post effects).
I'd love to know how you made the synth during the intro or at least what with
it sounds like a square wave but it's obviously got some form of distortion or bit crushing on it
I've heard a similar thing before and i really like it, be sweet if you could help me out
First post! Been lurking this forum for quite some time now, and it's proven to be extremely useful and a goldmine production tips and information
On to the sound.. it's actually a Snare, not a synthesized sound; I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the direction of a sample pack that includes a snare similar to the one that AraabMusik uses in his productions. I really like it and can't seem to find it anywhere.

Here's a video sample for reference
cheers!
The main snare seems like an 808 or 909
I can't really tell the difference between the two machines
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman? Soundcloud
I'm posting my own music, I pride myself on sound design and I've never had my sounds deconstructed so I'm really really curious, and you guys round here love taking sounds apart.
The deal is, I don't resample, I don't use massive effects chains, and my basslines aren't automated, at least not as far as FL defines it. Everything is right out of Albino 3 and the only effects besides EQ are the onboard effects of albino 3 and sometimes Glaveverb and Ohmicide if I feel like it.
I just want you guys to try and deconstruct the bass patches in these two tracks and recreate them. I spent a lot of time on them and I'm fair certain they're at least semi-challenging to recreate.

A conglomeration of my old tearout tunes I like, and my new ones I don't Soundcloud

Now, I don't remember how I got the exact sound because I resampled it a few times and I have about 60 effects channels for this track, but I know generally what I did. I used FL studio for this. I have the "magical 8 bit" plugin (which is a free vst). at the very beginning it is just a simple triangle wave, then it moves to a pulse wave and then a square (same plugin though). As far as I remember I really only used some EQ and some saturation and some exciter (via "camel space"). I see what you're saying about the very beginning sounding like a bit crusher. I know i didn't use that, just a triangle wave which has some harmonics but not many, and the slight saturation and exciter I added further pronounces these harmonics. I also obviously threw these into an arpeggiator. Anyhows I hope this helps.
I'm no expert so I can't help anyone but if you guys could help me make the sound @ 1:27 that would be groovy. is it some sort of pitch bending tech? anyways
