Incunabula and Amber haven't aged well at all. Tri Repetae was the real beginning and LP5 their first pinnacle imo.

I bought both confield and draft 7.30, tried really hard to get into them but it just wasn't happening

i can understand that. Confield is especially famous for being abstruse. Interestingly from that album on they became more and more accessible imo.
