Why is this festival even in Croatia if they pull shit like that? Why not just do it in Italy or France if you wanna get the mediterranean weather and boats. Seems like most of the patrons are British anyway since it' a bass music festival and the UK is the largest market for that, so moving it to France would make the whole thing easier in terms of travel expenses and shit.

Croatia is probably cheaper

yeah it's a sick place, the venues are wicked the weathers great there's a beach full of gyal and cigs are like £2 a pack which makes it all the more annoying that i'm probably not gonna be able to justify rolling again

I have no idea where else you could stick a huge rig in an abandoned moat, yeah you could do the same lineup in an equivalent Med location but the site itself is unique.

Imo the drawbacks of: sometimes aggy police, harsher drug laws, average festival food are outweighed by the benefits of the site. + the kuna is cheap, euro isnt, despite festival markups/token system its still the cheapest festival ive been to once youre there

Fwiw tho neither me or my mates have had police aggro, i can see why it could harsh ur weekend tho severely

Are you talking about the fact there is a tunnel or wtf?

just that it's faster and cheaper for people from the isles to travel to southern france than to the other side of the Adriatic, tunnel or not.

France also has more stringent laws when it comes to organising festivals, not to mention costs involved on the part of the organisers, I imagine.

FWIW, Glastonbury (greatest festival in the world ever) is £205 + booking fee but you do get a free programme with that.


Also reckon that in the small print when you bought the ticket there will be something along the lines of "lineup subject to change", so nothing is guaranteed and they don't have to provide a substitute/refund if someone isn't available.
