haha it's not that impressive/terrible-looking really. just basically my mouth visibly distorts anytime I smile / speak, and drinking is a bit troublesome as liquid tends to spill out of the non-controlled part. and my eye doesn't close completely, so I have to protect it from dust at night. can't wait for it to be over

yep, since it doesn't really obstruct talking or anything. when added I read that made a 1.7% chance of having it once in your life, so that's still 98.3% chances you'll never get it it is completely unexpected though, started yesterday and I just couldn't understand what was happening

Yo, I had the same thing a few years ago after going paintballing on a very cold windy day (can cut through the skin and damage nerves apparently). I guess your doc has given you steroids but if you want to speed the process along a bit some acupuncture can do the trick. They hooked up electricity to the needles and left me to twitch for 45 minutes each time. More relaxing than it sounds
