eh i was there too man and had the opposite reaction, was like i think i genuinely dislike this tune...probably the vocal sample getting on my nerves

haven't been getting much of a boner over the new 130 allstars, but parris on board's a good sign, his mixes are sick and soundman chronicles is about as point as it gets

I think its a good move for Tempa to reinvent themselves, they've gotten really stale the last few years churning out dungeon release after dungeon release. It's definitely not the forward thinking label it used to be, Parris might be the answer

If reinvention is what Tempa are after they should just hit up tumblr and release some vaporwave 12s.

ah, the tune worked in the moment. we arrived just as the intro started to roll, my mates hated it but I was quite appreciating the tune's mood a lot. it's almost sluggishly overaggressive, yet still feels like one of these underwhelmingly tame, sounddesign-focused dungeon rollers. there's some duality going on, injecting a considerable amount of rawness and excitement into this tune; you know what the producers were going for, but they messed it up. in their slight failure, however, they accidentally created a rather solid piece of dance music.







probably helped that I was completely off my face though.

Epoch wouldn't sound bad on Tempa. All those dubs need releasing too.
