Tip for the newish beat makers: Leave some air at the end of your drum hits when chopping breaks. Some of those samples end too abruptly. It's much more flexible to have a bit of noise floor or even a low volume hihat at the end of a hit that you can roll off with decay and release than to have your chop end right after the transient.

Yes to both, im just reposting and its definitely nicer when theres a bit of decay. Hits like these are very useful as layers for your drums though
Still looking for link to the bigger sample pack...
