Just listened to this weeks show and now working my way through Generation Bass. Absolutely sick.... why the hell is Mary not on in a proper timeslot? Her show is head and shoulders above any other DJ on Radio One at the moment...

The hard work doesn't go unappreciated, MAH!

Re: earlier comments on this thread about Sgt Pokes

i just want to say:
Pokes is one of the greatest things about of the whole of dubstep for me..
im delighted and so proud to have had him host Generation Bass..

if you watch the videos back and you will see that this was a complex project ... a 2 hour live session laid down in one take at Maida Vale... with 7 players, myself and 2 MCs involved...
a very very different entity to a home-studio recorded stand alone radio mix..

Pokes brings so much colour, flavor, depth, dimension and context to every set i've seen him host in the last 3 years...
his razor sharp wit and observational skills, great humor and ability to add his subtle but powerful touches with such precision, are peerless...

he brought all of this and more to Generation Bass... just as he did the Dubstep Souljah documentary, and Dubstep Warz with me in 2006..

maximum respect Sgt Pokes... you are gold :)

This show was alot, big up everyone that's feeling it.

Big shout out to Mary Anne for cratfing something great and out to my fellow DJ's/producers on the show.

Big up Pokes and Nomad and out to anyone who thinks they didn't do it any justice... Dubstep might not be for you then. If Pokes wasn't hosting it would have been like bacon without the egg.
