Broke a stylus for the first time

Daughter just broke mine last week. I was going to sample something, I go to drop the needle, and it's like a centimeter to the right. Even took a picture to put in the things that pissed you off thread... wait, that's where we are.

How about a stern talking to? My fault really, she's got all these books for piano lessons, and my studio is a wreck, so she puts them on the turntable, they slid under the tonearm and caught on the stylus.

I have absolutely no idea how to create music the piano roll especially yet its still about 80% more understandable in FL than it is in Abelton.

Just keep playing with it, it took me ages to even find the piano roll, before that I spent about 4 months making drum loops lol

well yeah. any tune ive made since i bought my keyboard is 100 times better than when i was using the riff machine lol

i think it helps if you (kinda) learn about scales and chords if you have no previous knowledge tho

Also, when I started, I learned my way around FL by re-making stuff as well, just pick some simple tunes that you like to start with.

I usually complete tunes when I'm trying to recreate another tune. That being said it is always like 99%different in like every way to what I'm emulating. I find it helps though

First thing to learn grasshopper, is to set up a sound loud account. Helps to share sounds, ask for critique and what not.
