that beat was a lucky shot and tbh I'm not sure if it represents my overall style cause my hip hop beat production is musically slightly different to all the other stuff I make on my other alias
you're kinda right doe sometimes when you just force yourself to come up with something you make your biggest "hits". I've had that feeling many times but where those hits are now I do not know lol

Man the only way I know is to keep putting the hours in
I consider my good beats "lucky shots" too, like combing such and such samples etc, but they do happen now and then when I keep at it.

Every year I ask you to vote for me in the RA poll and every year a bunch of you moan that DJs shouldn't ask for that kind of recognition. Which is a point of view I have some time for, but... well, you know everyone likes an ego massage and despite the fact that I hardly played any gigs due to being in bed ill for most of the year I did do this podcast which IMHO shows I'm worth anyone's vote. So if you please, do the decent thing

Some of you will be aware that I've struggled with my health this year. In the past couple of weeks the situation has come to a head and I've been in and out of hospital trying to deal with the various things that are wrong with me. I'm happy to say that things have now stabilised and I am on the mend. Unfortunately I have been advised by my doctor to take at least the next month off touring in order to fully recuperate.

The audio jack on my laptop's been a bit dodgy for ages and finally gave up the ghost last night... checked the warranty and it ran out TWO DAYS AGO.
Gonna have to try and resolder it tonight...

had that on my last one, once they go they're pretty fucked even when fixed in my experience, was working with external usb soundcard for about 2 years, worked quite nicely when i got a decent one and think it made the sound better too
