I'm a big hellraiser fan and I thought the same when event horizon came out. I still enjoyed it though, and at least it spawned dead space, definitely one of the better games I've played in the last few years.

The Hellraiser remake seems to be happening again with Clive Barker involved, but last I read they didn't want Doug Bradley back, lame...

Hellraiser+Event Horizon probably also hold the records for most sampled films in history. Shit the entire Dutch hardcore scene pretty much revolves around hellraiser.

Never really understood the flack it got. It seemed a little contrived at a couple points, the same way inception was but not nearly as bad. But the chemistry between Damon and Blunt I thought was very convincing and drew me in. Interesting/different play on a love story, and seeped itself into the fantasy genre but didn't have to justify it with stupid ridiculous CGI.

Just thought the G-Men characters were almost playing parodies of themselves.

Girlfriend didn't get it, I facepalmed.

Amazing, the scene with Michael Fassbender and Liam Cunningham talking was so good.

Love this one.

Classic comedy gold.

Image

Meh, sort of like a boring version of the Hangover.

Image

Too much drawn out bullshit, not enough Robert De Niro.

Well, they were G-men...

That's another thing I liked. The antagonists weren't overly confident and had problems of their own.

Better than the Wolverine one but still pretty shit. They could make the X-Men films so good but they choose to make it trash. Michael Fassbender was awesome as usual though.

For me, it's a classic. So much 80's hilarity all in one sitting. Can't go wrong!

She's not in it that much, and when she is she plays the whole slutty crack whore thing quite well.
