amazing film IMO, power house performances. Book is incredible as well.Pedro Sánchez wrote:
I can never watch this film again, clever and a must watch granted, but fuck me is it lacking in any sense of optimism.

nah, i defo enjoyed it, a bit dramatic/unrealistic at some points but awesome soundtrack, fairly quality acting and good shots make up for it.
tbf i was pretty high on cold meds and herbal.... remedies throughout the whole thing but i would definitely watch it again.

I'm a big hellraiser fan and I thought the same when event horizon came out. I still enjoyed it though, and at least it spawned dead space, definitely one of the better games I've played in the last few years.parson wrote:if you don't see how event horizon is wannabe hellraiser 4 then no amount of acid can help you not suck at life
The Hellraiser remake seems to be happening again with Clive Barker involved, but last I read they didn't want Doug Bradley back, lame...
Hellraiser+Event Horizon probably also hold the records for most sampled films in history. Shit the entire Dutch hardcore scene pretty much revolves around hellraiser.

Never really understood the flack it got. It seemed a little contrived at a couple points, the same way inception was but not nearly as bad. But the chemistry between Damon and Blunt I thought was very convincing and drew me in. Interesting/different play on a love story, and seeped itself into the fantasy genre but didn't have to justify it with stupid ridiculous CGI.wub wrote:Tried watching Adjustment Bureua last night...is it supposed to be a spoof/comedy?

Just thought the G-Men characters were almost playing parodies of themselves.

Girlfriend didn't get it, I facepalmed.

Amazing, the scene with Michael Fassbender and Liam Cunningham talking was so good.

Love this one.

Classic comedy gold.

Meh, sort of like a boring version of the Hangover.

Too much drawn out bullshit, not enough Robert De Niro.

Training Day = Top 10 for sure
I didn't like hall pass too much but It made my parents laugh harder than i've seen them laugh in years, so i'm grateful
That's another thing I liked. The antagonists weren't overly confident and had problems of their own.

Better than the Wolverine one but still pretty shit. They could make the X-Men films so good but they choose to make it trash. Michael Fassbender was awesome as usual though.

^^Yeah I thought it was pretty good (as far as Ben Affleck films go)
Just finished Trading Places

For me, it's a classic. So much 80's hilarity all in one sitting. Can't go wrong!
