Student loans gave me like a half of the standard loan to live on this year so I can't even afford rent in possibly the cheapest area in the UK. Fucking stnuc. I have to ask my landlord for a favour. Hope I don't have to be a rent boi

Any reason for that? If not contact them, and they will sort it out for you, and pay you back any money they owe you.
