One of the most surreal nights of my life.

My uncle got insanely drunk tonight and ran at my mum and threw her to the floor, punched my dad & tried to punch me and my brother, had to restrain him to the floor and call the police and go to A&E. All witnessed by his young son & daughter of 12 & 14 (my cousins). Scary and sad in equal measure. Feel like I don't know him anymore

Rough man. He's probably got some big problems, keep that in mind, will be easier to forgive him and feel better about it

Think of it as him making one final attempt to be a lad as the mortgage, driving his kids to school, and not being able to do black market badman drugs anymore seeps in and he finds himself living a life he once thought was beneath him.
That's not to say that he doesn't love you guys, he probably just thought he'd never have to.
