Doesn't really matter. You can't cater for everyones' tastes all the time.
I find most of the 'wobble/comedy/brostep/chainsaw' etc tunes get tired very easily as happened in dnb at the beginning of last decade. they're a bit like hollywood action films + energy drinks in the sense they get overkilled because they try to whack so much energy in from the outset, and therefore leave themselves nowhere to go. So you have to keep cranking the 'wobble/comedy/brostep/chainsaw' up and up and up til it just gets tired and has to go for a lie down. a bit like a small child.
anyway, i digress. enjoy your thing, whatever that might be.
I think what's really going on with "jumpup" isNot *toooo* much emphasis should be put on melody, otherwise we go into trance territory! Groove is just important. There's great use of melody in loads of new stuff atm, although not necessarily in the tearout sphere - perhaps because its not what that's about..ResetTheAtari wrote:>Melody is key
