A quick question for the veggies:
What the fuck do I eat for Xmas dinner?
Nice one! Keep it up!
For me it's easy, because many traditional Polish Christmas dishes are already veggie/vegan. I always make sauerkraut & mushroom dumplings with borscht (clear beetroot soup) and the rest is whatever I fancy.
You can have nut roast with roast potatoes, veg and onion & mushroom gravy. All the stuffing I came across was veggie, too. There are many brands of veggie sausages, funnily enough they are often featured in the menu of my omnivore housemates.
There are loads of recipes online, the only problem is that flicking through them always makes me super hungry

This is, ironically, the biblical origin of the scientific view that was prevalent until recently that nature was something to be conquered, dominated, subjugated. Once those Western philosophers had done away with god, they continued acting as they always had before but retained the attitude of separateness from nature.
when i talk to my dad about global warming & how i dont agree with fracking
he actually pulls up this argument that it says in the bible that god will provide people a new planet when we use this one up...

I just read this whole thread... took me about an hour not even kidding.
Can anyone recommend some real easy vegetarian dishes, I'd like to try but its too easy for me to pick up a piece of chicken and make some rice with it, I wouldn't know what to substitute meat with, help!
