I honestly think you need to reduce the role the US plays in your equations. We are descending into civil war. I don't know if you guys are aware of it through your own media, but it is happening, we are being destabilized.
just to clarify, by the US, i mean the thugs that are currently governing the US+the whole shady financial/military complex that backs them and get them elected, these guys would also nuke the US population if needs be, i'm aware the situation isn't all that rosey on your side of the pond, and i'd say the reason there's a civil war atmosphere in the US is the same reason shit's been going on in ukraine/syria/younameit

aforementioned thugs feel they're losing their grip, what with these last years events, at home and abroad, so they're getting increasingly desperate and it shows, backing fascists and islamists movements abroad to ensure no other superpower can threaten their hegemony and keep on justifying the billions of dollars spent on funding conflicts, then bringing all these weapons back home to militarize the US police force, woop woop

what do you know? now with this Turkey thing they might have the pretext to go full frontal on Syria and there's no saying what's happening next...

Some very funny things have been happening with nuke commanders/generals over here. Like they're being replaced in unprecedented numbers. I wouldn't put an internal nuclear attack past them, surely.

Committee chairman Rep. Buck McKeon, R-Calif., said Russia's "war on Ukraine has already started. It is time to stop speculating about possibility, and start dealing with reality."

Hearing more rumors that Russia will be selling fuel and arms only in Rubles, and Rossiya Bank is closing all dollar deposit accounts, and transacting only in Rubles.

In the last decade, fucking with the petrodollar has invariably lead to a knife in the ass. Lez see on this one.

Vladimir Putin ‘wants to regain Finland’ for Russia, adviser says

There is a cheery headline.

“The West’s leaders seem, from what they say, entirely to have forgotten that there are some leaders in the world who want to conquer other countries.”

Good stinger.

:t: Finland.

When asked in 1998 how he had become such a good shooter, Häyhä answered "Practice."
Haha, real straight shooter.

From that Independent article.
“We must offer resistance by all means available,” he said. “I'm not a bloodthirsty person, but there is sometimes no other way than military power to stop an opponent. The only answer to pure aggression is demonstrating willingness to offer a collective defence.”

that Independent article kinda sounds like alarmist propaganda doesnt it?

it quotes Andrej Illarionov who has apparently been Putin's economic advisor (ie, wasn't involved in diplomacy) from 2000 to 2005, so 10 years ago? according to his wikipedia page he now "currently works as a senior fellow in the Center for Global Liberty and Prosperity at the Cato Institute in Washington, DC."

what is this cato insitute you ask? "The Institute's website states, "The mission of the Cato Institute is to originate, disseminate, and increase understanding of public policies based on the principles of individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace." (emphasis added)

yeah, sorry nowaysj i'm calling bullshit on this one :(

That was nowaysj, remember nobody could find any substantial proof of that at the time.
