decided to read it cos my mum (works for NHS) was having a rant about fat people costing the health service too much money (and smokers, alcoholics, people who dont help themselves but expect to be treated for self inflicted ailments again and again)

None of those are BPA free.
They also degrade heavily if exposed to sunlight.
