Does this actually work as advertised? It's looks a little bit too good to be trueTrichome wrote:IMO Don't get crep protect, get Liquiproof.

Having used them both I can say liquiproof is miles more effective, and much much less chance of colour bleeding/leaving a tint. its permanent as well.

Yep, it really does. I was skeptical as well but its defo worth a tenner.Reese_Liar wrote:Does this actually work as advertised?

A coat is only effective for two weeks or so, no?Trichome wrote:Yep, it really does. I was skeptical as well but its defo worth a tenner.Reese_Liar wrote:Does this actually work as advertised?
I was sat there for a good 20 minutes in awe of how good it was compared to my expectations. Wasted like half a bottle of ketchup
You can put multiple coats on as well!
It bonds SiO2 particles to the individual fibres of the fabric at a nanometre level, roughly 500 times thinner than a human hair. These billions of SiO2 particles create permanent bonded layers which form the invisible barrier that makes water and oil unable to touch the fibres of the fabric. The coating permanently bonds to each individual fibre and can only be removed through mechanical abrasion, extremely strong alkalies and acids and liquids above 60 degrees Celsius.

Yes, they've got like a inner boot sock-like feature inside the shoe which makes it quite a snuggly fit. If buy them I'd go either half a size or a full size down (comparing it to Air Max 1's)
