Also I like going to see djs who know enough about music or have access to stuff I don't to the point that I don't know what any of it is.

I do like writing notes to myself in the toilet at a party when I'm so fucked I can barely use the phone, just so I have something incredibly stupid to attempt to read after sobering up

Yeah its nuts, might not even do it tbh. Might just pay for something cheap like 240sx and then do work on that and make a little drift car. Sell that then get the skyline. The insurance wouldn't be mad crazy since its such an older car. It would be easier for them to trash the car for 2k and pay out the other car. If it was a newer car it would be different story. Might even be cheaper since it would be considered a "classic"

I know two companies that search a car for your price and import it. Ones here in florida the other is in Cali. Contacted both of them and they said sure they'll do it but need the money. Im fine with taking a loan as long as its not ridiculous money towards the interest like 5.6% for 3 years. I barely have money atm since just spent most of it on some music stuff and family cant help me pay since spent the last of our money on the lawyer and other stuff. Didnt charge much but was everything we had left saving.

You can compare it to people checking texts at the movie theater. You're really into the movie and get distracted by people below you texting, checking fb etc. Same goes for the club.
Nah, that's gas imo. Seriously just ignore them ffs

so you started a new tradition where instead of fully embracing your favourite artist's performance, soaking up the experience and losing yourself within the sound you'd rather look at your phone for a solid 30% of the night, distracting not only yourself, but also your fellow punters.

yeah enjoy that one.
 jeez some people just have awful attitudes about everything.

you write down one word every 3 minutes that's maybe 2% of the time at most, and that doesn't distract anyone around me. it's not like it's pitch black in the club, plus if i turn the brightness all the way down (and i do), it's not noticeable at all. i see plenty of other people on their phones (much brighter than mine) at various times throughout nights and it doesn't bother me one bit.

and i was absolutely able to fully embrace the performance, who are you to tell me that I didn't fully soak up the experience? I remember skanking the fuck out during Anti War Dub and during Free Focus remix as well. I just wanted to remember it more than i otherwise would have. looking back at the list has jogged my memory and i remember much more of the night and probably will remember more after several months have passed compared to other great nights I've been to.

Overall I'm really happy about it!
sadact, cringe post

Sick, I get to open for Alix Perez and DLR in a few weeks and I'm really excited.

I always like Doc Scotts mixes but the boiler room he did b2b with Om Unit was weird, no flow or anything

Yeah it was like they were going in opposite directions, also the mixing wasn't exactly the best either from what I remember.

Good to hear you lads getting some great gigs! :Q:

had DLR booked in feb 2013 (billed as Octane & DLR). turned up with his mbp and a serato itch controller. tore the club to pieces with a rough & tough hype set. was a really good night.
guy is safe as fuck and always up for jokes, loves his FIFA.

when's the date? we got him over again in november, with Cern (first time).

I think you can do no wrong with booking Dispatch acts. we had 9 of their guys at our night already. all of them good DJs. Break, Ant, Survival and especially Skeptical possibly a bit above the rest still.
every single one being friendly, humble and incredibly fun just adds to the package.

we had Ant here recently, Skeptical coming in December, Survival would be sick, ill suggest that. Ive been trying to get Break over here for a while too, and Dub Phizix.

Not sure on the date yet but it's November too, it'll be a Friday, that's all I know atm

yeah book Survival. all those Bassic lads are incredible value for money. James from Amoss was a good guy aswell, worth it imho. had him here with Ant and Survival and he was by far the tamest one, going back to the hotel at around five whilst Ant followed our mc to a dodgy techno party and stayed until 10am.

can't get Dub Phizix without Strategy though, and I wouldn't do it tbh.
plays some halfstep, all the usual ingredients/dispatch/critical bangers... plus his back cat.
