V0 is the highest quality VBR, like 250 average kbps.

Do you mean using the guitar as a controller for the synth, or taking the sound the guitar makes and loading it into the synth?

latter i think. seems like attaching a pickup that converts the audio to midi output is an (the expensive) option, or sending it like you would to an effects pedal?

Digging through my parents massive old CD collection, found this guy from the 90s named Deep Forest, makes fucking amazing tunes that remind me a lot of some dubstep actually. Apparently he went to Africa and recorded all this tribal singing and then came back, sampled it, and made it into this sick dance-y tribal stuff. It's awesome.

So went to bed early last night and listened to some albums I haven't in a while.

a few things:


If Burial had made Endorphin into a fully fledged tune with drums it would've been fucking incredible. it sounds like he did, but then took them out. I actually sat up in bed and turned on my monitor to check what tune was playing, the vocal manipulation and vibe is >>

Shell Of Light is Untrue part 2.

James Blake's Measurements is really fucking amazing, but I Mind is the most underrated tune on that album.

The JB LP is almost as good as Untrue in my opinion, but the tracklist could have been arranged better tho.
The way Untrue is set out is perfect, it starts good and just gets better and better.

If Burial and James collab'd it would be amazing. Imagine Burial manipulating james voice, with james synths, and burials rhythms.

ive got the digital versions of anti-war dub & mud VIP but im not 100% sure about playing them out, just because i dont wanna get called out for 'stealing' tunes that ive actually bought.
