My dad is a russia expert pretty much. He's lived over in the USSR pre breakup doing weapons inspections and shit, which he's still doing as well as being a russian translator for the military. He has literally nothing good to say about russia lol. He thinks it's a horrible culture and the most depressing place on earth.

every time I chat to him about it he'll tell me some new story about why russia is terrible

He actually once got held in a soviet interregation room with AKs pointed at him for 24 hours too
