Fiiinished!
Started work on something a bit steppy after dropping phrex and saskia off at the station...finished it straight off the bat too, which never happens!
I came up with the idea for the progression and made myself stick to it. Almost gave up at one point with an "I CANT WORK OUT HOW TO DO WHAT I WANT TO DO" hissy fit...
Soundcloud
I was pretty darn happy though

Heavy track Matt, great percs... really like the hi-hats too. Deep vibes!
Here's another one I started working on late last night, still unsure of certain bits but fuck it, I'm impatient.

sick percussion and vocals feeling it! and how do you get such a huge mixdown? i use compression etc to boost my mater but cant seem to get a really fat mixdown on the go
here's one of mine i just finished

Cheers! Just got a standard compressor and limiter I shove on the master to boost levels, nothing fancy. I try to follow a gain structure on the mixdown though and paraellel compression on the drums helps give it that extra thickness.
Feeling your track a lot though, eerie vibes. I like that delayed snare, nice sub line too.
