It could be said that old hardcore and grime are equally "badly produced" but that doesn't put me off those styles either.

Theres a difference between rawness of production and something sounding like it was made by a monkey (like a lot of footwork stuff does)

well i think a lot of early grime stuff sounds just the same. i still like it though.
