Didn't know Ross Kemp was into his acid.

Roland are bringing the heat! There is also a Hardware snyth and some kind of vocal FX thing.
Check it out...
Key details: 4-oscillator synth where all parameters are controllable with physical knobs and sliders. Arpeggiator with new Scatter phrase variation. Integrated effects and tempo syncing. Can load Roland plug-in synths, so they can be played without a computer.

General consensus is that they're a bit shit.

Has anyone go the Softube Console 1? Looks good. Shame it doesn't have onboard DSP processing like the Focursite Liquid Mix 32.

Know what I really want? A balanced 1/8th" jack in the base of my skull right behind my ear that taps directly into the auditory nerve. No more bullshit speakers and bullshit rooms and bullshit ear canals and cochleas and their DFTs. Pure signal input, no bullshit. No discrete frequency response, no upper or lower limits on frequency response, no transducers and environments getting in the way. Source direct audio for everyone, no more confusion.
Music would probably sound like shit that way but fuck it, I want what I want.

Too early to tell wub, I hope that was sarcasm, yeah?
Sunk, I don't know man that might be pretty sweet, but, I'd just take good monitors in a good room

in a post apocolyptic world where music is made by half-men, half-machines...brain-step rules the dance floor...
subbass? try subconcious bass...

Yeah, listen to sunk, he is talking about wires. Jokes. All about the quantum connections for really high fidelity.

No the Quantum Connection thing was just a gimmick between the new Mogami/Monster conglomerate, Mogamster. All about fibre optics to qubit convertors with infinite bit depth and continuous sampling.
Fuck, then we'd still be subject to the photon sensors in the fibre optic receivers and the convertor algorithms... I'm glad I got into DSP. When I'm reborn at age 80, and reach the age of 24 a second time in my new biologically superior body, I will make those quantum convertor algorithms my life's work.

By that point, there will be no work. Everything can be designed and built by the helpers.

By work, I mean the activities we engage in after the usual staples of recreation grow boring.

I imagine everything will grow boring except seeding and growing life throughout the universe.

You cheeky fuck. Did I know you had a reel to reel?
Do they have milk crates in Madrid? American ones at least, fit rack gear perfectly.
And so what is the input into that?
