The stuff those guys are producing is just too great so we need them on the FOB waves again !

Some info about them :

Subreachers (Matthias Hoogewijs & Tim Van de Meutter), a duo formed in
October 2008 when 2 friends started producing after they fell in love
with dubstep.
They already released some tunes on Haunted Audio & Dubkraft (can be
found on beatport, juno,..) & they got some forthcoming tunes on Live
Beyond, Embassy. With a release set for early 2011 on Hospital
records' sister label Med:School they keep on pushing the boundaries
and exploring different tempo's.
With support from lots of national and international producers/dj's
they keep building their own personal sound in bassworld.
Now let the music do the talking!

Add to this the raw live energy of the MCʼs and donʼt be surprised if you find yourself

In 2008 they set up Stainage Records, a label aiming to promote Belgian productions
worldwide. They were also responsible for the infamous Stainage parties that brought all
the biggest dubstep names in Brussels ages before the hype".

BunZer0 invites Illament





Illament is a young Belgian dubstep dj which is pretty skilled and tight in the mix !
Played with the boy last year and witnessed a perfect mix made with vinyls only so it was just a matter of time to present him to you FOB addicts


More details about him :

Illament is a 19th year old dj from Leuven. He discovered jungle and drum n bass
troughout is brother and bought his first few records. After a year or 2 his musical
interest couldn’t be pleased anymore by drum n bass and he switched to dubstep.
“Machine” in Leuven, a club that recently stopped existing was a great place to develop
his dj skills. He tried to find the balance between pleasing the audience and playing what
he liked the most.

His first dubstep gig outside of Leuven was Rotation in Gent. Gaz welcomed him to the
rotation team and promoted him ever since. A little while after that Haze and Smiles
Davis asked him to join their radioshow @ Radio Scorpio, “Nightshop fm”.

His interest in dubstep is still gaining with the huge variety nowadays in
the dubstep scene. He tries to incorporate all of the “sub”genres in his sets
representing: “heavyweight”, purple, experimental, future garage etc…

Been a while we didn't had Phonetics pon the FOB waves...
We gonna both represent Brussels at Outlook festival so we thought it was nice to have some radio action together to tease you a bit

More info about him :

A dj born and raised in Brussels, Belgium. He has been mixing Dubstep, Grime and UK Garage since 2005 but he started buying records when he was just 11 years old. He has played in a wide variety of national and international partys like Konkrete Jungle in NYC or Kubik in Lisbon, and shared the lineup with heavyweights like Skream, Plastician, Ramadanman, Mount Kimbie, Shackleton or James Blake. He has also been invited several times on the FOB show to do a B2B set with Bun-Zer0. You can expect a variety of styles because eventually, that is what Dubstep is all about for him. Deep Dubstep beats, aggressive Grime bangers, Soulful Garage tunes – expect the unexpected.


Phonetics is also part of 54Kolaktiv. 54Kolaktiv has been organising parties in Belgium since 2007. They were responsable for getting guys like Headhunter, Ramadanman, Gatekeeper, Benufo, Lwiz, Airhead, Gravious, Whistla, Deapoh, Subway crew and more to Belgium for the first time!

Nicolas Baudoux is a turntablist, artist and producer from Brussels. Coming from experimental pop music and going into sophisticated dance genre. After his early music activities with his brother called: Scratch Pet Land. He decided to push all concentrations into his solo project. DJ Elephant Power was born. Quickly, he transformed his place "Studio De Sable" into a high electronic beats, sounds and scratches platform research.
Thru the Cologne based label "Sonig", he released his first album "No Si, Ni So" in 2004. For the electronic scene, he presented more than just a surprising and enjoyable debut. The album redefined the job and the self-image of the DJ. DJ Elephant Power is the legitimate
succesor to the turntablists who appeared in the middle of the 90s.
He released his second album "Scratch The Hulu" in 2007. Concidered like a mixture of free-jazz and new tendancy, this new long player from Dj Elephant Power was well appreciated by the UK magazines and labels.
"..from the Scratch The Hulu, his second solo album, presents 12 more dislocations of the same highly strung technique, and the superhuman dexterity in evidence suggest an expert at stacjking the plate at all-you-can-eat salad bar..."from THE WIRE
Then his third release "Atlas Anthem" in 2008.This crispy production from him backs up the quality you would expect from one of the most prolific cut up DJ's around. Energetic dirty basslines and complex beats spliced with wacky instrumentation that's reminiscent of a splattered movie soundtrack in a spicy dubstep sauce. The same years, he recorded some scratches for the band "Von Sudenfed".
With his fourth release on sonig in 2010 "Elepha In Da Flash", DJ ELEPHANT POWER runs danger of jeopardizing reputation as an anti-perfectionist, because he (again) does it all totally different. Anyone who has ever experienced Nicolas Baudoux as a DJ will have fallen in love with his nimble fingers and the dynamic acceleration of pitch in his live sets. Today, he is part of a phalanx of DJs which have beaten a path between laptop-music and live performances to create the exceptional . He revitalizes the dancefloor with new musical styles which go against a uniform functionality. This time, synthetic strings and organ sounds compete in a soundclash of "Eastern meets Western style" for polished hooklines. This machine disco tells futuristic tales of lonely printing devices and ill-humoured laser guns. DJ ELEPHANT POWER reveals himself as skilful master in the art of staging his beats without indulging in a lethargic and complacent droning of bass sounds. Dj Majix is a young Brussels dj who started mixing in 2007.
With his addiction to bass, he started experimenting with different genres en try's to covey that same experience on to his crowds.
He likes to combine the varieties of dubstep like grime, 2-step, garage with some more deepness.
He includes "forgotten classics" whit newly released and unreleased tunes in his mixes.

Evolved from small home party’s to Brussels festival (where he’s been chosen by the audience as the winner of the ‘Bruksellive festival dj contest’), the Stainage party, Rotation Dubstep and many more
