Do you mean removing an EQ that has been applied to an instrument?

Or EQing a sample to remove a specific instrument - like EQing the guitar out of a rock loop?

Click on the sample channel in the stepsequencer, there you can either change the gross pitch (at the top of the panel) or you can use the time stretch controls to change tempo but keep the pitch (under the SMP tab). If you can't see the sample channel in the step sequencer even though you just dropped the sample into the playlist, select "audio clips" from the menu in the bottom left corner of the step sequencer.

have the playlist open so you can see it, double click the audio clip so it opens its properties window (or w/e its called) you can play with the "time knob" and match it to how you want it (youll see the audio clip getting longer/shorter in the playlist, OR you can right click the time knob and select 1 beat, 2 beats, 1 bar, 4 bars etc...

There are a 101 ways to change the tempo of audio in fl btw.

Hey finally stepped up to 10, loving it on so many levels. I should have switched mid project, fuck would have saved me time brolickers. But one thing is annoying the fucking butthair off of me... I used to click on an fx in the mixer and scroll wheel that fucker to move it up or down in the fx stack. Shit don't work no mo? WTF is up with that? Is there any other way to move fx in the stack other than the click - move up or down shit, cause that shit is wack and slow as fuck. Feel me brosheep?

right click on the waveform in the audio properties window and press edit so it opens in edison

there should be a box thats blank that says "bpm", right click that box and in that window, fill in the original bpm of the song and save that version and put it in the playlist. open the audio properties window (i think its called that) of the new version and right click on the "time stretch" knob and press auto-detect and choose or type in the original bpm of the song (not the project)
if you end up with chipmunk vocals, turn the pitch knob to the left a little bit

thats how its done in FL10
was a bit easier in FL9 if i remember correctly

Yes - and it affects the sound differently when you do. For example Bit Crusher > Reverb means that bit crushed sound has an echo to it. Reverb > Bit crusher means the reverb itself is what is getting the bit crushing, and you run the risk of the reverb tail stopping abruptly.

Hey, so is anyone having problems with 10? I've only done a few sessions in here, as I'm a maschine monster now, but uh, I've been having really strange things happening with the mixer. Like I'll click into an fx stack, and it will switch to another channel on the click. Extremely annoying. Might be linked to another problem that I am having sidechaining in the mixer. Seems like the mixer keeps sidechains active, or it thinks that they are still active when they are not. When this happens, you cannot sidechain to that mixer channel any more. Only work around I've found is to ditch the mixer channel altogether, and just start using new mixer channel.
