My housemate has started seeing some radio producer from the BBC (Radio Four, I think) and she's given him details for the employee backdoor to the iPlayer...... FULL BBC ARCHIVE STREAMING TO OUR LIVING ROOM WITH NO EXPIRING CONTENT!
Interface is shiiiiiiiit though.

She shared it with him, he shared it with me... it's a beautiful thing....

Been getting good feedback/compliments on our sound at gigs, subs in particular, super clean, no distortion (benefit of horn loaded subs). Our headliner asked how much we usually charge, we said $200-$250, he said we should be charging double that.... so yeah. Nice to hear people actually speaking up about our sound

There was a thing on XFM a couple of years back with Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, he was being asked how it felt to be the BBC's composer in residence, he replied, "it's OK I suppose... it's not as fun as it sounds but I do get access to their entire music archive!"
