Skylar was actually pretty cool in the latter episodes imo, the way she sort of embraced this whole illegal underground world was pretty cool. She grew a back bone and fucked Ted to get at Walt which, despite being a cuntish thing to do, added layers of personality and complexion to her character

Agreed, I really think its a testament to the writing that he was so ambiguous. He was always so cool, calm and calculated but there was still an element of unpredictability about him (slicing that dudes throat ). Same with Tuco too, except he was just fucking nuts and unpredictable
