Just so I'm not gotten wrong, I do like the tune. At first listen it was a little awkward-sounding, but after a few more plays and tokes from the chalice it really started to grow on me. I spoke to Hank Shocklee of The Bomb Squad (Public Enemy) nearly 3 years ago about dubstep and he MCed on my set, he was already well clued up and a big fan. I'm pretty sure it's been an influence on his work since then.
Also, as you may know, The Beastie Boys have named 'Lion's Paw' by Rogue State in Aprils Q Magazine as one of ten influences in their new album 'Tadlock's Glasses'.
Although Snoop is well significant, perhaps more than previous hip-hop heads, it's not a bad thing. Don't be scared, it's a sign of how far the beats have gone.
