know that feeling quite well.

just try & get as relaxed as you can before jumping into bed (eg having a bath, reading a book, taking a big shit etc....)

It's the same with me, but I love it. I watch films, I listen to music, I make music. I basically enjoy myself more than I would lying in my bed unconscious. And 'cos I lie most mornings I'm not missing out on much sleep.

Time spent asleep is time wasted, if you could do other things and still get an adequate amount of sleep.

reading before bed is key. I get really bad night terrors so I have to read every night before I go to sleep anyway or I wake up screaming bloody murder

audio books help me go to sleep i don't like to read
