Really weird film with Antonio Banderas about a private detective, a missing stripper who may not have existed, some diamonds, a particle collider in New Mexico and the search for the Higgs Boson particle. Or maybe not.

Very fucking weird. Beautifully shot, lots of lush colours and bleak emptiness and shards of coloured light piercing obsidian skies. Also stars the legend that is William Ficthner.

Worth a watch.

Oh hush. Expendables could've been passable entertainment if it wasn't for the last 5mins of them high fiving each other and riding off into the night on motorcycles.

Can someone recommend some 90's movies with similiar soundtracks?

Bully. It was alright, thing is I found all of the characters to be just as unlikeable as each other so I found it kinda hard to sympathize.
