The amount of coke you had on that snap was class :Q: . How much is a gram in canada?
80-100 depending on how much cut you want. Fairly rare but you CAN find good quality at 80 with a proper full count.

my professor was mighty impressed with my recent presentation and the first part of my assignment (6 pages to go); seems like I could get another job as tutor at uni next semester.

Andy Stott & Eli Verveine soon in town. :h:

turns out I won't be warming up for Commodo & Kowton, but closing the night instead. this makes me somewhat happy, since the original programming seemed a bit odd - opening with dubstep for a techno act followed by more dubstep. now everything makes more sense imho. hold tight the 6am-7am stamina crew!
plus I've been booked for an early evening outdoor set in germany next month; pretty hyped for that as I'll have the opportunity to play some different stuff.

I wanted to post Brothers Johnson - Brother Man but it wouldn't let me so you get this instead.

haha, a good mix for me isn't that clean man, a lot of putting a tune in then adjusting on the platter and pitch while both are playing from the speakers, but good in managing to beatmatch pretty much all of them and get them blended eventually

particularly as grime i find can be a bit of a long ting with random snare placement and vocals are always much trickier

isn't grime/dubstep mostly the same tempo?

yeah, vast majority 140, but old grime can swing between like 130 and nearly 150

and i'm hardly beatmatching king

Grimes a bit like D&B/jungle with the varied 3/4 bpms around 140 i find

But yeah @RKM agreed its harder to mix in some ways, shorter intros, rougher mixdowns etc, more conducive to short blends + quick mixes espesh live

yeah innit, i prefer longer mixes, i'm not amazing at banging it in right first time then quickly chopping tune A, i like to hear i've got it in and blend it

same for this one (i have the instrumental not vocal), not a listening tune at all, although it does sound quite madly far out and experimental to my ears
