@billy crystal meth - I don't use VSTs, i create all my synths in reason from scratch. Usually with the malstrom or the thor.

Don't be surprised if I leave tons of feedback on your soundcloud, I hope you do the same for me.

Espy: holy shit those sounds are intense dude! im not really a fan of the crashes though. i think they are making the track sound way too noisy, also i think you could turn down that kick a tad. pretty cool automation on those wobbles though man. definitely a great start!

billy crystal meth- no intro?? haha. pretty groovy tho. seems a little random, make the transitions more obvious. oh snap im not trying to sound liek i wanna tell you what to do! haha. but yeah man i think its a little a random.

nibzdub-makes me wanna smoke weed. i love your snare sound too! the vocal samples feel too trebley to me. overall this shit is dope!! good shit

heres mine! thought id post this up before i go party haha :corndance:

Nibzdub-perc. work on that was great. Loved the synths and the vibe. Only thing was it needed some power. like loefah mud power. do as much research as possible on gain structure and such but that was a great tune

spraypaint-make that shit darker! more demonstrative! i like where its headed it just needs some feelings of despair mixed in
aight heres what i think is the final version

@ rightontime, thanks for the feedback. so you feel the whole song needs more power? or certain things?? let me know so I can work on it. and I went for very simple percussion pattern in this song on purpose. still gonna add woodblocks n blips etc..

@RightOnTime27 - So fuckin' sexy and smooth! Perfect drop with the sub. I was gonna say the claps at the end go a little crazy but I like the variety added to them. Pretty epic toking song, man. :)
@sprayypaint - Vocal samples aren't really my thing, I like the sub-bass and the raindrop noise... I like it after 2.00... much better. Lolwut??.. the song ended and it changed to the real(?) "Gutshit" lol I'm confused.. Well I'm likin' the dark groove and synth work... Needs some more grit and distortion! (but i like distortion too much :D)
@nibzdub - Aww I love these chill vibes tunes.. First of all, the wobbles are a bit low in the mix but you prolly already know that.. anyways this makes the snare stand out more and seem a tad repetitive... maybe add a long delay on it at the end of each bar or something.. Also the kick could use a bit more kick :) Likin it man!

Well I haven't produced in a while and I decided to give Reason a try so here's what I've been working on vv (btw Reason pwns FlStudio!)

A 110bpm downbeat project I've been working on..only a bit of fun and didn't take me more than about a week.

Will prob take it offline and work on it again in a few week. Anyway, see what ya think;

Feeling this tune loads. It feel of the tune changes too much maybe once it drops. I reckon if you were to continue that field recording of rain throughout thr track, maybe even reverse it once it drops and have it quietly in the back ground, though would be epic. But yeah, apart from that little bit, really feeling the production on that.

I like the idea of this tune, but it doesnt feel like it ever goes anywhere. Maybe chop the hell out of some loops youve made, layer em underneeth and then have a little breakdown halfway through using a different synth youve made and then drop again, but modulate the original noise and change the melody slightly. Liking it!

This is a new tune I finished on Friday. It has a weird structure but I'm still experimenting as I've just made the change from Reason to Logic. Let me know what you think! Peace!!

It's called At Night They Come Out To Hunt. (top one in the player)

@RightOnTime27 - Love the intro, really nice sounding. I'm not really a huge chilled dubstep fan but this track is really good, love the atmosphere.
@Sprayyypaint - really strange sounding bassline but i like it, quite heavy but mellow. definitely need to make a full version though mate
@Billy Crystal Meth - pretty sure people before me have said, but needs an intro. the bassline's nice sounding, but im not really feeling those hats. just personal opinion

Here's a track me and my friend made, I've been producing about a month and he's never produced before so go a bit easy haha. The only thing he said before we started working on it was "I wanna make it fucking grimy" so this is what we came up with, a dirty brostep track. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

@Captain Planet - You did a good job on making it "fucking grimy", but I really don't like you using the same sample twice. Otherwise - good job!
@RightOnTime27 - Really relaxing track and I am loving the build up! Big up!
@Alexvont12 - You could really make some heeeaaavy shit out of those sick wobbles! Keep it up! :)

Heres some of my WIP!

@DubMikey - The wobbles don't seem to do the track justice, it seems they need a bit of tweaking.

@Captain Planet - Interesting ideas but the bitcrushed synths lack energy.

@alexvont12 - I think the drums could be harder, as they seem a bit vapid atm.

Soz for negative feedback, but to me those help the most.
This here's an old track I finally got over with today, it's not dubstep though:

Voodeedoo-i like the plucky synth. if its done what do you want feedback for?? the song is sorta structureless, other than that production wise it sound nice n clean.

Karma_blitz-is that a hihat with the snare sound?? not a bad idea! that has never occurred to me. i think you need to EQ those basses a little. give em a little bit of high end so you get some crispy sounds. they sound uhhh cardboardy? i say bring the strings back and the vocals up a bit. but thats just me :D

DubMikey-too much wobble for me. sounds like your pushing random notes too. the sound itself is pretty cool though. i say work on that automation more. give the drums some variation. the percussion just needs to be turned up in general, the verb on the snare doesnt sound very good either. sorry if i sound like a dick, but i think im giving you legit feedback :D keep working at it!

ive been working on this all day today. im a little stuck. anything helps!!

Thanks bro. but how do you mean give the bass some high ? The main bass is a sub with everything over 100hz rolled off

@sprayyypaint
Groovey beat, I think the bass could stand out a bit more. Great vocals and percussion work.
@Karma_blitz
Nice harmony, great 80s guitar haha and that supersaw lead is awesome :D Not too keen on the filth part, I think you use alittle bit too much bitchrush on the basses

something I made for fun, just a simple bootleg but tried some new style
