The most important bit:
Try to drop some feedback on at least three tunes, otherwise this won't work properly
This thread can be a great resource if people follow this guideline and cheers to those that have been. Lots of great tunes and feedback lately.
Guilty!
I just didn't want to go canning peoples tracks when I'm such a newbie to be honest. I've done my best to rectify the balance of this awesome thread though.

I think I've left at least 3 sets of feedback for each tune i've posted in this thread (except maybe the last one) but havn't necessarily got 3 responses to all of them...is it within good taste to keep bumping my tracks every few days until I have at least 3 responses? It's just a bit frustrating when you put effort in to give feedback and don't get any response. Don't get me wrong theres a lot of good feedback in this thread and a lot of people are following the rules but sometimes ur tunes just get overlooked, im sure everyone that posts here a bit has had it happen.
On a similar note I only have one bit of feedback on my latest so far XD

I don't know about etiquette here too much but I'm pretty happy with the one bit of feedback I got here since it gives me at least something to work on. That doesn't mean you're not free to have a crack at ripping my stuff to shreds though hahahaha
On TribesmanDub I think your stereo panning is a little too hard, I'd soften that a little myself or people on either side of the dance floor are gonna get totally different experiences of your tune.
Your style is far more musical than anything I can come up with, very original too. Props to you breadbin, safe.

Apologies for the long post, i've been busy with work and stuff, hence the ramble...here goes,
Paravrais- I peeped 'Tribesman Dub' , it's got a nice reggae feel to it, i like the sample it's nice and tight on that front. The mix sounds a little 'wooly' could i suggest a bit of eq-ing to remove a little of the midrange. It seems that this is where most of the energy in your track is, I checked 'Sloe Dub' as well. Keep it up mate, it's obvious you put a fair bit of effort into your music. Safe.
Lovergoat-(weird name dude, i cannea get my head round it! ) I'm feelin' 'Maddrumbreak' for it's breakcore properties and 'Shapes' the most. Shapes is good and doesn't sound anything like the rest of your tracks. could develop this one further. Sweet.
Manix- Good efforts mate, not more i can say really. keep going.
Alone At Sea- Nice track, 'Frozen Without You' it reminds me a little of the music of This Mortal Coil, with the overall ambience. You could do with a breakdown somewhere i feel, but that's just my opinion as the track is fairly short anyway. Which is good as it holds the interest.
Key2- 'Iron Mighty' is O.K i can appreciated the time and effort you have put intto your tracks even though i don't really go for the bass/wobble end of the spectrum. Keep up the work ethic though and you wont go far wrong. Sorry if i sound like i'm preaching, hope the feedback helps.
Slug- As has been said before, heavy vibes with nice production skills, again a bit hard for me but still cool though. keep on pushin'!
Thanks to all for putting up tunes, it takes a bit of time to go through but the effort is rewarded with some nice surprises along the way, therange and variety is really good here and makes offers a decent variety from the 'bangers' and 'remixes' of the dubs section, not that i'm knocking it.

Don't worry dude, it happens unintentionally i'm sure. I like to try to say that I at least listen to some tracks in an effort to see what others are up to. It's only fair really.
To keep things ticking along nicely, i've got two tracks this time, one is a jazzy slower dubstep/breaks thing called 'Circle Quartered By The Square' and a proper dubstep tune called 'Foregone Conclusions'
For your listening pleasure. Thanks all.

Untitled on your myspace has a really warm feel to it, almost comforting. I tend to like tunes that mess with peoples minds a bit and you have a great opportunity there to hit people in the face with something unexpected. One thing I would love in that track would be some kind of squarepusher effect every few bars on the drums. But that's just me, I like my breakcore too much.
Some example of this? I don't quite what you mean by squarepusher effect hehe.. I come from an indierock / garage background.. I only know his name not his work.

Cheers for the comments people. I don't think theres anything else I do where I take criticism with such glee XD As soon as someone points out a flaw with my tunes I tend to immediately notice it as well and then start trying to fix it which is good cos like I'd miss a lot of things otherwise.
Btw Mondays Child I have actually noticed that you make quite a lot of effort here to give feedback so props! Your tune 'Forgone Conclusions' now I do really like it and I have to say you've got your garage bass sounds spot on BUT I have a slight problem with this as you have it the same kinda level as well and I've often thought with a lot of garage that that hollow bass noise was always too quiet in the background and could really do with being a bit louder. Your other tune I didn't reli take to when I put it on but accidentally forgot it was playing in the background and then realised that its actually really quite nice to have on if your not paying much attention to it just catching all those echo-y vocals and stuff whenever you tune back in(I've now rewound it for another 6mins and after 12 mins straight it does get a bit much with all the cymbals lol). SO much going on in this track! Almost reminds me of mr. scruff in a lot of ways.
Lovergoat your tunes are phat btw, listened to decompressed and I love the style that your sounds are in, I don't really know how to describe it but that liquid, robotic feeling works reli well! Liking your breakcore as well.

Caunter:-
I like the drums on this beat man...not really a fan to the ctual bass sound or melody tbh, it sounds a bit too sing-a-longy for me..not to say its bad, just not my thing...really like the drums when the break comes in, changes the vibe completely..keep it up
Legendary:-
I like farscape man..got a nice 'alt' feel too it.. a bit more planet mu or warp than tempa!...im not really the biggest fan of the snare, sounds a bit too muffled and not part of the tune..but i like the overall tune..one for the ipod i think
ManicMcKanic:-
I like this tune man..got a nice shuffle to it..i prefer the second synth to this first but i like this tune man..got my head bopping!
My turn...
www.myspace.com/roistermusic
tune called 'manic'.....those who have been following my beats know that ive been focused on the chilled, minimal shit...this time i went for straight up dancefloor shit (i missed it!)
let me know what you think...only rough, only spent a day on it so far
cheers
shouts to paravrais and mondays child, know how this board works! - ill comment on ur tracks asap!

Some great sounds in here, I like it. I think the bass needs a lot more meat. Unless their is a heavy sub I can't hear on my bummy monitors to my ears it sounds like you have a great bass sound but you need more Low End and/or Low Mids on it.
Also: listened to Faint, I really liked that one. It's deep, mellow, well written, and well produced. Nice one!

I just peeped "SloeDub" nice bass/synth sounds mate, and good job creating a lot of variations on it while still tying it together. Out of curiosity what synth did you use for this sound?

Well currently i'm using reason and I think most of the sounds in that track were made using the subtractor, might have had 1 malstrom and 1 nn-xt but the subtractor is a wee beauty imho. Cheers for the feedback.
If I don't get rediculously drunk at the pub later on catching up with my old mates back from uni then I'l be back with 2 new tunes an sum feedback :p

Thats quite a compliment as I do try and do my own thing and end up being a bit weird.. but not the "out weirding wobbles" what seems go on these days - kinda agree with the snare but when cranked up as a 24bit wav it sounds fresh and hits you nicely!
To your track "manic" - exactly what I said above haha, it just seems to much like you're trying to weird out people than to build constructive beats with a bit of a weird edge to them, I love the drum work and the general vibe but I feel it could do with more groove, its got so many off beats and so much going om its hard to find something in there to skank out to. Its well produced though but just my verdict - don't take it as a insult I'm just a big believer in pace, space and bass.
