fair enough! I watched Brick Lane on acid - I got well into it and there's this scene where the woman is running in the street looking for her kid where it al got very trippy and I couldn't tell how much of it was down to my own crazy head!
However you don't know.

Naked Lunch is next level wat business. I've yet to read the book, although to be honest I don't think I could survive an entire book of that.

The book is very fractured, it's almost musings. There's a lot of graphic gay sex and sexual violence in it. It really is a foul read.

Although I'm not a Chabrol fan, one of my all-time favourite films is Chabrol's 'Le Boucher'/'The Butcher' (1970).
... but is it weird enough ...? (It certainly isn't experimental/abstract.)

Yo random question: you ever seen that movie with Nicole Kidman where there's really no set?
Instead, there's chalk drawings of buildings. So the hospital is just a square drawn in chalk on the ground with the word "hospita" written over it. The jail, etc...the same thing.

Yeah I did see that on television awhile ago, that was actually quite a good film.
