Currently rocking one 1210 (other's smashed) one Denon DNS-1200 and one channel as virtual DJ controlled by an electribe. Now try beatmatching with no sync and only being able to jog forwards, or even using a standard pitch fader... Just one knob controlling the pitch (riding the knob some might say)... now thats ghetto!!! not to mention not being able to mix vinyl into vinyl.
As a bedroom DJ I get absolutely no excitement/satisfaction out of mixing from Virtual DJ to virtual DJ cos in most cases all I have to do is press 2 buttons...
So my 2 pennies is...
If ur doing it for fun/messaround then vinyl/CD is the route to go down. If you want consistently good mixes/performance get a USB controller.
