I dont get it why Mala isnt releasing a whole album in 4x12"-format. Apart from Sinners there wasnt anything released by Mala this year. Bad situation for all of as. Same with Loefah tbh.

But then you don't get threads like this. The anticipation for any release from them is ridiculous. They ain't interested in making money remember.

Its not because of making money. Its the chance for people to listen to his releases in full. Imo it doesnt makes sense to produce loads of quality releases and dont release these. I dont think people produce stuff only for themselves but also for the masses. If they dont want to make money they could give these tunes out for free.

The unreleased dubplates that Mala plays are a big reason why people go to see him, if they were all released then anyone could play them and they would just become another release that everyone has, I really do think it's better that Only a select few have these tunes because when you hear these played out at a dance it seems special (trying not to sound cliche). I think Mala is doing things perfectly by every now and then releasing a track out of the blue that no one is expecting. Don't get me wrong I would love to get my hands on some of these tracks but IMO they would loose there special quality.
Fuck a LP of all his unreleased tunes all about singles for a producer like Mala, Unless a LP of fresh new tunes made specifically for an album.

I dunno....in my mind, unless Mala strips the tune down in a more creative way I don't think Horrow Show is something that is remixable. it's as minimal as it gets.

all this talk about no one going to see mala if his tunes get released is a bunch of crap. im sure we'd all go see mala. the man is a legend and who wouldnt want to hear those songs on a big system. not all of us have club set ups in our houses.

whatever we get will be top, but the tunes I'd like to see released the most are- Livin' Different, Eyez, Return To Space, and Jah Power Dub.

I hope Livin' Different comes out some day. Never getting to hear the whole thing would be a shame. Give thanks for getting to hear it at all tho

The thought that some of these dubs will be "lost" is bittersweet... it certainly prevents them from becoming a commodity, and makes them special, but DANG...
