ah, as one of the biggest perpetrators of the busy synth/beat songs, i must say that i truly enjoyed reading this thread, it taught me quite a bit...

really, its jaw-dropping to have both in your arsenal, and really read the crowd and drop the appropriate tune at the appropriate time... blasting filth from start to finish is just gonna grate on people and probably give them a headache with all the different nasty robot wubz.. i love the filth, but i started out as a dancer, and the filthy wubs the whole time really just start to sound the same

i really learned the importance of having good monitors/headphones, so you can feel the power of the space dubs, because most people who cant hear/feel the subbass are the ones getting bored and trying to get busy and messy

i dont know if anyone else is nerdy like me and gets laughs off of webcomics, but i think you guys might appreciate this toon if you havent seen it haha:

I don't know bros and hos. I'm way into space, but if there is a lack of a certain intensity and repetitiveness in the beat, my mind starts to wander and I loose focus on the music. U could say this is a good thing, but not in this case. When it's heavy and driving, I leave my body, but because I'm grooving on the beat. When it just gets whispy and empty, I start yawning and thinking about all the bills I have to pay n shit.

The best dubstep for me always has a kind of panic to it, or a pre panic, the moment before panic. Just an overwhelming tension that is never really released.

i don't think bein spatially creative means u have to lose intensity or flow as such, for instance whenever we drop this it is guaranteed brock out on teh dancefloor, ery1 gets their twitch on

The crowd in Omsk like space too...

and this Planas tune (RAN008 - 'Zulu') delivers some DUTTY pressure believe me...
