Mate i would probably fall asleep easier listening to 'Sweet Shop' or this tune than i would if i was listening to, say Ben Verse or Kryptic Minds tunes because of the sheer depth they have to them. That therefore holding my interest in the song.

Just listen to these 2 songs and count how many different layers you can hear. I guarantee the deeper tune will have more.

Ben Verse - Inhale is a sick track!

...and so is sweet shop...

I'm one of the biggest DJ Fresh fans you could come across (Yes when he was in BCUK he was at his best) but i'm not a fan of the high pitch lead thing that has come up in a couple of tunes (Emalky-When I look At You and this). Although i would give this a spin just to see what people thought.

Watched him play at Fabrics the other week and he went into a littke dubstep mix which was all a little like this. Would be nice to se him do something downtempo that was more like:

Signal
Hooded
The Immortal
Snowcats
Hornet

Yes some Drum heads (Verse/Kryptic/Icicle and Misanthrop) making some very nice tracks at the moment

A lot of tracks have the Dog sounding synth, like this one I heard on Jack Beats essential mix

I dont mind it in some tracks but too much of it gets annoying fast

Yeah there may be more layers to it, but theres no energy, it just bores me. If this got put on at a party, people would be sitting down and falling asleep, where as if sweet shop came on, I doubt you'd find one person sitting.

errrr
i have never heard dj freshs tunes (excluding benny page remix of ''heavyweight'' if that was him)
but i can say this is utter non-shieettt material, aka absolute dogshit
wobble sounds like a pitched up chihuahua with a dildo up its rectum barking
and i can't stand the sample at all, sounds more annoying than the wobble ffs
to benf7, the bass in ben verse - flip the coin would kick everybody's ass to the dancefloor right away
''sitting down and falling asleep'' lol
peace out

Oh god, the ignorance...

I remember youngsta dropping flip the coin & inhale a few months ago here in Belgium. I can assure you no one was sitting down or sleeping, in fact, everybody was giving everything they got.
And you don't need to look for one person sitting down when sweetshop comes on, you already found him. Me.

that magic mash tune is an insult to busta rhymes and his classic tune!

that fresh tune not too bad for a club tune, not really my thing. it would sound dirty on a funktion one system though!

would rave to that...

standard!

The percussion in Diamond dub by Calibre is so good, it may not vary but oh my days
yeah there are exceptions, Martyn for one, and also Benny Page (Satori) and Zero G are making massive dubstep tunes! as well as the ones mentioned above. I swear Seven and Dj Madd produced dnb before dubstep as well
ahh nahh they dont know about percussion its too fast to even have a groove! and then they slow it down and have kick on 1 and snare on 3 and a big wobble bass and they think its got some groove! Martyn knows what he is doing though, he has some right grooves goin on

god that is horrible.

Sounds like he put a puppy in a blender and added a snare on it.

A Mt Eden remix would improve this track ten fold.
