I don't really like David Gray at all, but you don't have any right to tell him not to cover a song. Especially as you haven't heard his rendition yet. And so what if it is bad?
Whoever created this petition needs to hop off Burial's dick. If Burial doesn't want his song to be covered, he can speak for himself. He doesn't need internet hero worshippers to defend him.
Ridiculous people.
Especially ridiculous given that everything in Archangel is already "borrowed" from somewhere or other. HELLO:

If anyone should be pissed, it's Ray J. [if anyone can show me how to embed video, please PM me.]

He danced for eighteen hours staring straight into the sun, until at length a great vision came... He believed the world was made of shadow and that he could dream himself into the real world that lay beyond...

Most sensible comment so far

A duet with Tay Zonday of Chocolate Rain fame would do it the justice it deserves. IMO.

That would be actually classic.
I'd like to hear a full orchestra version of Archangel. Violins, Drummers, Bassline played on a double bass, conductor , the lot. I think it'd be epic.
Big up the Stink Like Sock family.

Yes!
Never! Jeff Buckley is the singer/songwriter equivalent of Burial.
Bon Iver is a boring version of Jeff Buckley.

Bon Iver is not trying to be Jeff Buckley, no need to tear him down. I think the Bon Iver comparison is pretty good, in fact.
