She got smashed in hobos one night apparently, and decided she was going to take over the laptop thing with the music. played a load of tunes id played her that day...which happened to be anti war dub, neverland and various other classics

went down like a lead balloon though

Yeah, I dunno what the crowd's like there, probably just wanted some mediocre dnb. I dunno if I could ever get my head around those two thing together - 'Bridgend' + 'Anti War Dub'.
If I had been there I'd have gone mental I'm sure.

IS there anyone putting on dubstep in newport?? we're trying to find some local places to play but other than Kama lounge (which is wicked but sound system is very limited) doesn't seem much about...

				Carmarthen here..
The scene here in the South West is little and a quiet one on the whole but we got a set of good djs/producers/events and we ain't shy on getting the names here here aswell.
We always have good vibes out here.
only problem is that majority of the crowd are only in to the jump up/filthy brosteppy sounds here so expressing and putting on the wider sounds of dubstep here is a some what frustrating challenge at times.

Might try my hand at spinning some records if it arises. Get real vibes going.

I suppose it's the only place that plays half decent music in town...

There. Now to locate that place on St Mary's Street. Is it down the top end near McDonalds? That's where most the clubs are.

So Cardiff finally gets some decent names in and it's in some utterly wank club. Stupid fucking layout. Stupid fucking soundsystem. Stupid fucking night.
Seriously. I'm not usually one for hating. But if that shit was in Clwb or something it would've gone off. But there was no weight. Coki was utterly wasted on that venue. Not gonna bother with Pinch if it's on some same shit.

Im gutted about that, was hoping that it would have kicked off and we'd have a new decent venue to invade. Was supposed to go aswell, but something came up.
