Headphones: There's all kinds of them all for £1 - even sets of 2 which work out at 50p each! I'm on a hell of a run right now, had some which have lasted about 2 months, usually they die by now!

don't ever go into poundland and try to buy a single can of pop, the checkout girl will look at you like you just pissed on her nan.

I need to get involved in one of these tak mecca's. We had one opened my chico or something equally lame in my old town but it was soon swamped by ingrates. That part of the shopping centre has a constant smell and constant group of people loitering outside.

They always seemed to seel mutlipacks of cheap foreign rizla with their chocolate.

I heard on the news that due to the high rate of inflation pound stores will struggle at having such wonderful stock due to not being able to sell the items at "magnificent value".

They have already taken our bags of sugar.

this

I bought I my mates the terrible DVDs they sell in 99pStores (couldn't see any films in Poundland plus i save 1p for every item bought  ).
They had a few Asylum films (Transmorphers, I am Omega etc) as well as some really odd straight-to-VHS-and-then-for-some-reason-released-on-DVD films as well such as 'Alien Intruder' starring Billy Dee Williams and this magnificant fail:

literally the most hilarious pile of shit ever, I urge all ninjas to track this film down, get peng and laugh your mind off.. It took us about 3 hours to watch it cos we kept rewinding bits to laugh at again and again. The review here sums it up:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1330208/
was interested, read the first review on imdb

was shocked by the openness and bohemian nature of the first reviewer

Dragon fighter that one is quality. Watch out for the disappearing acts which involve throwing a smoke bomb and standing in the same spot until the camera cuts.
