Worst might have been Borgore or similar bullshit. I usually play vinyls so I laughed at them.

The best was when I was playing at a dnb night. A dude came near the decks and I was thinking "nooo please he's gonna ask for Mr Happy". He asked for Killamanjaro lol, of course I played it

Whats the best request youve had? and did you play it?

What would be a tune that you'd love someone to ask you to play. I guess the better fans who know their tunes have the respect not to request tho i guess
I've honestly never really had a good request =(

I've had requests for things like borgore before and though I refuse to carry any borgore I have some remixes so at least I can satisfy them usually with something better than what they originally anticipated.
I play at a regular night at a university, and all i ever get is people asking for that mr postman tune and sweet shop. But the other week just before i played, a guy came over and asked if this week i could play more songs from labels like punch drunk. It was a very welcome change.

Sean Paul. Usually girls are the ones who ask for shit like this, but no...this was a guy asking for fucking Sean Paul. i told him I don't have any of that shit, so he asked "what about some Rnb?". I said "I'll check". I did not.

Last gig I played I had this one drunk girl come up to me and ask me to play "that filthy nasty Rusko shit". I humored her and played a Rusko tune, and she came up like 15 minutes later asking the same thing..

Also, at this same show, some other girl had the audacity to request a specific mix! Skrillex - Kill Everybody into some song I had never heard of. That kinda took me by surprise.

Someone at a gig said to me "can you play that dubstep song that goes womp womp womp" ... now that could be 99.9% of dubstep songs but something told me it was cockney thug so banged it on and my word did that guess pay off, the place went off!! but other bad requests are probably Mt Eden and someone once asked for that lloyds tsb advert remix lol

Fuck you! I'm not saying techno is bad, i'm saying that rappers/rnb/hip-hop that use techno is shit. IDK where ur from but here in Merica, thats all they play on the radio. Gets kinda old
its not really techno though is it? more electro house, or maybe even tech house. its like that typical thing when someone who doesnt listen to electronic music, thinks that everything electronic is techno.

Also the standard

*Playing Loefah - Ruff*
Her: "Could you play some dubstep?"
Me: "Erm, what is this dubstep, you speak of?" *pretending to be confused*
Her: "Hm, like boregore or rusko or something"
Me: "Sorry, never heard of it"
