Re: Cellphone/mobile phone elitism.
Got a ten quid thing from ASDA that is made by Foxconn or someone, it also came with a tenners worth of credit!!! Got an iphone that is pretty much knackered and a samsung galaxy which i love.
all on payg, phone is off most of the time and i seldom carry it with me - i like to have one but i am not fussed if i don't. One of my worst habits is losing phones, had hundreds of the things and only ever bought one or two! I usually get mates' or my brothers' old contract phones when they get a new one. got the samsung galaxy for £60 off someone i barely know in a pub, not going to ask how he came by it - but it was boxed and still wrapped in it's protective film!

Did you have to buy a sim for the phone from asda? I've been in to phones4u and other places and they bloody list the price of the handsets for, say, £10 then when it comes to buying it they go "Oh yeah, you need to buy a sim that's another £10"firky wrote:Got a ten quid thing from ASDA that is made by Foxconn or someone, it also came with a tenners worth of credit!!! Had an Iphone, had a blackberry. Both broke every other month. Now I have this and I'm more content with this then any other phone I've had.dubloke wrote:Nokia 1661

Nah came with it. I think I was probably supposed to top it up with twenty quid or something at the point of purchase but I only paid £10 for the handset and sim (preloaded with £10 credit).test recordings wrote: Did you have to buy a sim for the phone from asda? I only ever use the phone when am out paintballing, at festivals or on my bike so it doesn't matter too much if I lose it.

I was actually more aggrieved by being forced to buy a sim at the same time as buying the handset, I just wanted the damn handset!64hz wrote:test recordings wrote:Did you have to buy a sim for the phone from asda? I did, and I downloaded some random apps from both installous and cydia that claimed that they'd get it working on ma shit but neither did, for some reason. :/fractal wrote:Jailbreak that shit man, open her up to the worldsvpreme wrote:How did you get flash to work on thurr?fractal wrote:my iphone handles flash & java and lets me code on the go, good enough for me.
