Just finished my 3rd play through, very very happy with this. Feels far more consistent than Thursday. Not quite as good as House of Balloons but that could change.

Dirty Diana is my favourite MJ song, i'm always worried when someone i like does a cover of an old classic.. its always hard not to completely fuck it up.. but well done Weeknd, incredible cover!

They actually sound amazing, enjoying them more now to be honest. Such a sick producer, Realest Alive is next level.

Dude, you read my mind. The girl on Thursday was a little too hipster and, uh, white for me, but I was so intrigued by the image on Echoes that I cut it out, made it my background and I just stare at it while I listen to the album sometimes

I was really looking forward to seeing another suite of images like the previous two tapes had but there doesn't seem to be one yet. I think this mysterious red look is my favourite style so far. Guess we'll see them as he uploads more songs to his Youtube account...

Echoes is good. My favourite out of the trilogy. For me it's echoes > thursday > house.

He sings, real name Abel Tesfaye and the beats are largely handled by dudes called Illangelo and Doc McKinney, also there is a producer by the name of DropxLife who co-produced Initiation and has given out 2 EPs of instrumentals (check them out) which fit the Weeknd/XO aesthetic

thats well sick i defo wanna check out those instramental eps, sometimes i just wanna vibe to some instrumentals i like the vocal stuff and all, depends on the mood im in
