On the production side of things I can't understand this turn in opinion of Skream.
His last album was far removed from any of the current commercial Dubstep, and wasn't 'selling out' whatsoever. I personally loved it, Where You Should Be and the jungly bits were lovely, but they all sounded fresh and no screeching mid-range in sight.
I can understand the distaste for his DJ shows, and for that reason I don't bother making the effort to see him anymore. That said, he's obviously playing out what he enjoys. As much as I love Midnight Request Line, I imagine he's absolutely sick of it 6 years on.
