I don't think the program itself is bad really. I think it's the way they are marketing it that is bad. If someone who knew what they were doing picked up this product they could probably just as easily create something great with it as if they were using any other program. However, they are marketing it as a "turn key" program. They make it sound like all you have to do is run it and it will do all the work for you, which is obviously complete bullshit. Unfortunately, there are people dumb enough to believe it, and buy it because of that. I guess that's a lesson they will have to pay to learn.

Just by looking at the program, and seeing how everything looks through screenshots and videos, it looks very cheaply made. They really didn't seem to put much thought into detail when creating it. My guess is it was a program that was thrown together quickly in an attempt to take advantage of an ever popular growing market. Just browsing the features list, it actually pales in comparison to pretty much every DAW out there, including some of the free ones you can get. It's definitely not a program I would ever recommend to anyone.

I didn`t realise Reaper could only use MP3?
I must have hacked it to be able to use all these other formats.

Some serious BS marketing there.
The comparison list is like a list of the 20 biggest lies on the net.

@nylle OMG the first guy sounds like a tard. :corntard: Huge exaggeration of the gangster talk and clearly faking it (for whatever reason)
the girl (if being serious at all) probably didn't even try the software cuz she's giving it to her brother right?
Back to the first guy, he says that "All the professionals are usin it." downright lie right there. Probably no professionals use it at all.

And the program is really basic, probably doesn't even allow use of a synthesizer. And its no easier than any real daw, I would think.
Stole the beats by dre logo. And probably named it dubturbo just because the dubstep genre is growing in popularity.

DubTurbo never ceases to annoy me.
...in my opinion

It is an amazing marketing blast though isn't it? If you were a new user and interested in trying to make music and searched for dubturbo, there is nothing but positive stuff about it... They're very smart in the way they have saturated social media etc, they might make a bit of money off it.

Funny how in the demonstration video they don't show you how it works, they just show you rotating screen shots.

A massive, clever, scam.

The site doesn`t even show you how it works.
The site is literally one large marketing ploy.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

in the mix of bigging up dubturbo they answer a question on how to memorize things
Andres Saavedra, Yahoo! Answers wrote: Read one line off of the page out loud, then look at a white wall and try to repeat the line. If you have trouble remembering it then go back to the page and say the line again. Keep using this process until you have memorized that first line. Move to the next sentence and follow the same strategy.

I used this technique years ago to memorize a sales pitch. Worked well for me. Good luck!
looks like Andres has been perfecting sales & marketing skills :corndance:
