+1 for Rockwell on the DnB tip
also +1s for Commodo, DJG, Silkie, Blawan, Ramadanman/Pearson Sound, Lost, LD and pretty much every producer listed
I am going to throw Matt U into the mix. The percussion on Void blows me away, the way those claps, snares, cow-bells, hi-hits, and morphing synth/bass lines swing the tune back and forth like a stumbling drunkard.

Well i think it would have to be Burial although El-B and Zed Bias come close as well, there's a producer who makes mostly DnB but who's made a few Dubstep tunes and one of them had the most mind blowing percussion! I can't remember who it was now, but it sounded a bit like those synthesised tech house type affairs you get, was pretty amazing.

Burial - you can always recognize his beat
Icicle - was listening to Dreadnought today and his drums are top notch (as well as his production level):

too much

burial's percussion is out of this world - seriously. so unique, haven't heard anything like it before.

there's just something about woodblocks clapping against each other

i'm really into lx one's beats right now, they're not typical dubstep style beats, more hip-hop i'd say but if you listen closely they're so dynamic
