^^ got to agree, although in this case i think it speaks more to the solid as fuck argentinian defence for most of the game.

superior team pulling away now though

Molzie almost called the margin. The Argentine defense scrambled and slowed up the ruck ball well but in the end you can't score points without the ball. Hopefully Colin Slade is okay.

Good show from the Argies really, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what they do in a few years time after a bit of Tri Nations experience. If they can keep up for 80 minutes it's game on.

Good to see NZ through though all the same, tournaments better with them in it.

and i am glad they've called gear up, he deserved to be in the original team.

Leave piri at 9 and cruden at 10 and hope for the consistency they showed midway through the second half yesterday. If all fails we can bring on Ellis and move Weeps to first five.

I'd love to see dagg play a game at first five (outside the world cup).

Totally happy for Gear. He deserves his spot.

heard bare people chatting about putting him there for the remainder of the cup games, but seriously, this is no time for trying out shit like that haha

i think in time, once carter has had his day, dagg will eventually be tested in 1st 5 ... theres something special about him and he really needs to be given an opportunity to show what he can do, even if its a position he never plays

also any of you kiwis got thoughts on mccaw these days? obviously his intangible benefits to the team (leadership, motivation etc) are undeniable but he certainly hasn't been making the impact he once did, or that the other loosie's are making these days

The Welsh have one less player on the paddock for the rest of the game, 20 minutes into it.

They've done really well with 14 so far! The french don't look threatening on attack. Apart from their dominance in the scrum, they can only muster a couple of feeble drop goal attempts for points.

The French are playing some strange rugby considering their advantage, that's just how they roll I guess. 8)
