If someone froze time, assuming that all the particles and atoms and electrons etc would stop moving, wouldn't everything fall apart?

Nice. i love how all the scientists are hoping to find anomolies and errors. I hope it's 100% true - means science will take an interesting turn in the future and will make for some interesting documentaries! :D

haha yeah, I was always very skeptical of this and it annoyed me how all the hipsters at my uni wouldn't stop going on about it when they had 0 knowledge of physics at all.

dunno if anyone mentioned this already but the special theory of relativity says that things cant accelerate past the speed of light, but you can have things that are faster than light if they started life like that
